The FGH80N60FDTU is a 600V field stop IGBT transistor with high current capability. This new IGBT is suitable for soft switching applications such as kitchen induction hobs and inverter-type microwave ovens. This field stop IGBT (FS) offers lower VCE (saturation) voltage during the driving state and lower switching losses during the instant of disconnection. However, since it does not include an intrinsic body diode in common with all other types of IGBTs, it is usually encapsulated along with an additional fast recovery diode (FRD) for most switching applications. This product is of general use and suitable for different applications.
