A CD-ROM with maps of streets and roads in Spain (TeleAtlas) is included, a Compact Flash memory card is required (minimum 128MB - NOT INCLUDED).

You can use other maps available in the market or created by you provided that they are compatible with the .crd format, which is the original format of the Map 500. Thanks to the GPSMapEdit software you can convert maps of other formats supported by the Map 500.

It has been designed for diverse uses, such as navigation, positioning, use in the field of research, military or leisure, etc. It is ideal for recreational activities, for leisure time and all kinds of outdoor sports, is totally waterproof. The memory can be expanded with an optional Compact Flash card (up to 512 MB) and has the WAAS / EGNOS function for greater precision (WAAS for USA and EGNOS for Europe). A: only recognizes CF cards formatted in FAT16. Maximum recommended 512MB.
