The OP295 is a two channel CBCMOS operational amplifier. By using a bipolar front end, lower noise and higher precision have been achieved than CMOS designs. Both input and output ranges include negative power, providing the user with zero input/output capability. It is an ideal driver for power transistors and H-bridges. This allows designs to achieve higher efficiencies and transfer more power to the load than was previously possible without the use of discrete components. Stability when driving capacitive loads is another advantage of this design over rail-to-rail CMOS amplifiers. This is useful for driving coaxial cable or large FET transistors. It is widely used in applications such as battery-powered instrumentation, servo amplifiers, actuator controllers, sensor conditioners, control power supplies, etc.
