The STMicroelectronics ULN2803A is an array of eight Darlington devices in through-hole mount DIP package. The array contains eight Darlington transistors with common emitters and integral suppression diodes for inductive loads. Each Darlington features a nominal load current peak of 600mA (500mA continuous) and can withstand at least 50V in non-conducting state. ULN2803A has a 2.7K input resistance for CMOS and 5V TTL, which simplifies the interconnection of logic families.
