The TOP245PN is a flexibly designed integrated EcoSmart® offline switch with expanded power that uses the same proven technology as TOPSwitch, integrating high voltage power MOSFETs, PWM control, fault protection and other control circuitry on a single CMOS chip. . It has many built-in features to improve design flexibility, performance, and energy efficiency. It is an integrated switch mode power supply chip that converts a current at the control input into a duty cycle at the open drain output of a high voltage power MOSFET. During normal operation, the duty cycle of the power MOSFET decreases linearly with increasing current from the CONTROL pin. It incorporates many additional features that increase power performance and design flexibility. Patented high-voltage CMOS technology enables effective integration of high-voltage power MOSFETs.
