The AT27C256R-70PU is a 256K (32K x 8bit) once programmable read-only memory (OTP EPROM) device in 28-pin DIP package. This 262144 bit low power, high performance memory requires only a 5V power supply for normal read mode operation. Any byte can be accessed in less than 70ns by eliminating the need for speed-reducing wait states (WAIT) on high-performance microprocessor systems. Atmel's scale CMOS technology provides low power consumption and fast programming. AT27C256R-70PU enables reliable storage of firmware and access by the system without the delays inherent in mass storage media. It has additional functions to guarantee efficient use of high quality. The fast programming algorithm reduces the time required to program the device and guarantees reliable programming.
